His expertise centers on the acquisition and disposition of Multi-Family and Mixed-Use properties throughout the Bay Area, including Castro Valley, Oakland, Lafayette, Antioch, and Walnut Creek, as well as ground-up development opportunities.
Professional Background
Teddy has twice received the CCIM Institute’s prestigious Mary Dee Karp Scholarship, awarded annually to recognize outstanding promise in commercial real estate. In January 2020, he became the youngest member appointed to the Northern California Chapter Board of Directors, where his peers later elected him to serve as the chapter’s Technology Officer.
Before joining Baniqued Commercial Real Estate (BCRE), Teddy served as a Senior Associate at TRI Commercial Real Estate, and prior to that, as an Investment Associate at the Walnut Creek office of Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates. Since joining BCRE, Teddy has built a reputation for his rigorous approach to research, underwriting, and transaction management, advising clients on properties ranging from single-unit dwellings to complex, large-scale development projects across the East Bay and greater Bay Area.
Beyond brokerage, Teddy is an active voice in the industry, authoring articles and conducting interviews on topics including commercial development, affordable housing, and real estate investment strategy. His writing is featured on LinkedIn and distributed through his newsletter to a growing audience of industry professionals.
Activities & Interests
Outside of his brokerage and advisory work, Teddy is an avid tennis player and member of the Berkeley Tennis Club, where he frequently plays and gives lessons in his spare time.
